    Imitation Fonzies

Lest we never forget the massive spread of "Henry Winkler Mania" that pummeled the country in the mid 1970s. It's somewhat understandable that teens and pre-teens wanted to be more like this leather clad rebel so we can forgive this young man doing his best "Ayyyy" here.

Somehow though, it's just unforgivable when you see a grown man doing it. This guy should have dressed like Schneider from "One Day at a Time", he could have pulled that off...

I had a Fonzie T-shirt, (still have it) when I was 11. It's like the drawn shirt in the top photo. I also had a Fonzie poster from Dynamite magazine over my toybox.

    AAAAAYYYYYY!

Fonzie was my son's favorite Mego (actually repro) for awhile. When I showed him an episode of Happy Days on YouTube, he was fascinated.

For some reason the fake leather jacket looks nicer than the real one to me.
      It's all good!

One of my kids Savannah...her dad calls her Fonzarelli 'cos she so cool. So I made her a Fonzie shirt, and gave her a Fonzie (CTVT) doll.

Haha I felt like the Female Fonz for years riding a motorcycle with my obligatory white tshirt, jeans and black leather jacket.

I had a Fonzie jacket when I was 3. I was big into Happy Days. Had the Mego Fonzie and Jalopy, at least one T-shirt I remember, and a set of Paper Dolls (don't tell anyone).
