If you could have one classic toyline brought back and continued, what would it be?

I'm talking about a straight up continuation of an old toyline...same sculpting, articulation, packaging etc.
I gave this a lot of thought, and although this is a Mego forum, Megos weren't my first choice.

I would love to see a continuation of the classic Super Powers line. Although I loved my Megos and my Secret Wars, there was just something about the "power action" features that really appealed to me with those. If they could have expanded that line to include all the characters that've been done in the new DCUC, it would've been heaven.

I also would have loved a Fortress of Solitude and Batcave playsets.

I would have loved a Super Powers Fortress of Solitude, made out of clear/frosted plastic to replicate the crystal-y look from the movie. And while I'm dreaming, it would've been really cool to get a newsroom playset with Lois Lane (to go with mail-away Clark) and a Batcave/Wayne Manor set with alter-ego Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, and Alfred figures!

More Star Wars figures, of course (Lars, Beru, Tarkin, Biggs, more Cantina aliens, etc.)

As for Mego, more WGSH (Flash, Dr Doom, Mr Freeze, civilians!), and it would've been cool to see more 8" Dukes of Hazzard-- Uncle Jesse, Cooter, Rosco, and a scaled General Lee.

There's a lot of lines out there I'm happy with but for a few figures: Mego Wizard of Oz needed some flying monkeys (if we can get the munchkins), the Robin Hood line needed a Sherriff of Nottinghham and/or Guy of Gisborne. For non-Mego, World of Springfield isn't really complete without Maude Flanders, Playmates Addams Family needs a Wednesday, and I really, really wish McFarlane would have continued with their LOST figures.

If I could bring back and continue a line...

1st choice: The 12" Mego KISS line would include Eric Carr and maybe even Vinnie Vincent.

2nd choice: Mego WGSHs line would include many of the figures that are being made as Retro Heroes.

3rd choice: Mego Star Trek line would include Checkov, Sulu, Nurse Chapel and several other figures that were never made.

4th choice: The Super Powers line would include Supergirl, Batgirl, Riddler and the rest of the Legion of Doom.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

        1) Mego WGSH full line.

        2) Old school Redline Hot Wheels cars and track sets.

These are the two toy lines I loved most as a kid and still love now.

have you ever seen the proposals for the next wave they didn't do for super powers?
          Holy Cow! Super Powers Extravaganza!
there were some intersting things in the works. But maybe it was for the best otherwise I'd be blaming Super Powers for the idea of repaints galore instread of Batman the Dark kNight collection

WOW, that is a great site! Thanks for the link. I think SP had lots of life left in it...same with Secret Wars. That line really confuses me...they didn't make some of the major players that were actually in SW, but they made obscure characters that WEREN'T in it. No Hulk, no FF...such a shame.

The continuation of the Super Powers line would have been fantastic!

Another toy line that should have been continued was M.A.S.K. GREAT concept, and there was a decent amount of vehicles....but more of a good thing is always nice

                Other lines for continuation consideration:

                Kenner Indiana Jones
                Hasbro C.O.P.S. n C.R.O.O.K.S.
Kenner Robocop and the Ultra Police
                Hasbro Stargate

I always wanted the rest of the crew of the Galactica.

For Mego, more Treks, but we are getting that now.

Matt Mason would have been fun to see keep going, too.
                          It's all good!

YES, YES, YES.. I would have loved a Peter Davidson (if it got into the early 80s..), or at least some additional aliens..

Also Playmates Trek ~ OK, I know it was over-saturated at the end, but would have loved a Classic Enterprise bridge set.

Captain Action/Action Boy lines, Galactica ships for the 4" figures (and the LandRam for the 2" figures, OUTSIDE of Canada ....), and of course..

Mego WGSH, Palitoy 1999 and Logans Run.
