    Sylvanian Families?

I have 2 of the large ones that talk w/ vibrations next to music or story tapes, but they don't work.

Fisher Price did make the Woodsies, who were animals wearing cloth clothes, but they were finger puppets as I recall, and came in a cloth log that zipped open to become a house. there were/are Calico critters too, but they are the same as the Sylvanian Families....Looking through my old 70's Wishbooks dont show anything else...could it have been early eighties?

                  Maple Town?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Was it either of these? I am almost positive the empty buildings had animal like fisher price people that went with them (1975, mattel). The other (log) was a stand alone playset also from early to mid 70's.

Did they have a small Metal plunger on their feet so when you put them down (or pretended to make them walk) their arms would move?
