Need help identifying this game...it's a tough one!

Back in the late 70's I had this awesome game with a King Kong type gorilla figure that would bust loose from these chains.

I cannot for the life of me remember what the heck it was called, so trying to find one has been nearly impossible.

    Does anybody else remember this?

I did a google photo search for you ...

I searched for "Gorilla" "game" "Chairs"

It came up with a photo of what I think you're talking about called Game Chairs.

The link URL was called shoponline

Only problem, when you click on the photo nothing comes up except tons of spyware

No wonder you were getting all of that spyware. Nice try though.

ahh are you sure you are not mixing it up with a very early 80's game called "kid Kong"? I still have this and the ape was chained up. The whole point of the game was to put the chains in without him breaking free, it was made for the US by Bandai

I could not even find a listing for this one on boardgamegeek.com, so I took a pic of mine. Note the eye stickers are gone so we drew in fake ones

"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"

That's it!! Although seeing it again...it's not nearly as cool as I remember.

Thanks so much for the pic!

Thanks for the info, I used to have this game as a kid as well..it was really bugging me a few years back because I couldn't remember the name and nothing was coming up in google.

That was so much fun. I remember those chains being a pain though to arrange sometimes though.

Ah what great memories are conjured up everytime I visit this site...

glad to help, it still is a fun game. For some reason I do believe this game was released overseas with a different title.
