    My favorite clothed non-Mego figures

Outside of the StarWars craze I got caught up in, these toys just hold so many memories. I was always drawn to cloth outfits before Kenner put out their version of crack in 1978.

Pulsar - What kid wouldn't want a figure with full-on exposed guts and pumping blood? I may have some plans for this character soon...

Bulletman - I know he's a repainted Joe, but flying him across a clothesline in the back yard was magical.

Electroman - I know a lot of people have never seen him, but he's pretty cool. Action figure and flashlight. He's a good 15 inches tall too. If mamory serves he had a crude motion sensor and lit up when you walked in front of him. He had many a night of guard duty while I slept.

Super JOes - I dug this entire line, but I never got my grail figure, Darkon. Guess I'll have to settle for pieces.

Big JIm - I never had these as a child, but I grabbed this Dr. Steel a couple of years ago in mintish condition. He's my favorite non-mego vintage toy.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Dang, my friends were much more spoiled than I was. I remember Pulsar, Dr. Steel and Bullet Man, and played with them, but never owned them. My rich friends must have had them! Come to think of it, they also had more Megos and GI Joes than I did. :(

Hey, I just noticed the word filter here has a glitch.

It turned the word flashligh.t. into torch. Huh?

Dr Steel was one of my absolute favourites as a kid. Looking back now, I think I must have been quite an unusual 12 year old girl...but I still have a real soft spot for him.

It does that on occasion. I can't understand it.

Anyway, I love Pulsar and the Big Jim figures. My buddy Falcon has Electroman. That thing is HUGE. You can also put either bike reflectors or aluminum foil on whatever you want him to be on the alert for.

Someone must have accidentally changed the forum settings to Brit mode.
              Let me test it:

The spare tyre is in the boot of my car. And I'm almost out of petrol.

Yep, that's the problem, that's not what I typed.

We don't have a word filter like that anymore, I wish we did.

I have always wanted a Bullet Man. Didn't he come with some kind of string/pulley thing that sent him careening through the pile of sticks of your choice?

He has the attachment to add string to it...but trust me you don't want to send him flying through anything Bulletman will easily break apart..as I learned when I had my original Now my BM sits in my showcase his crashing into wall days safely behind him.....

PS. I always hated that his legs were not Silver also he kinda looked like a dweeb....

Marxx toys. Sure the clothes were molded on Johny West and Erik the viking but there were so many soft plastic assessories you could call them clothed.

Erik had a tunic, skirt, cape, belt, quiver, bow, sword, dagger, axe, 3 helmets, shield, spear. The guy was friggan armed for bear.
