Very nice 1975 Doc Savage Statuette

I actually like the box much more than the figure. Really too bad there isn't an actual 1975 Doc Savage Action Figure. I wanted to bid, but had no idea what he'd fetch. Seems like a respectable amount for a somewhat hidden auction.

I've owned one of these before, between it and the whitman puzzles, it's the sole merchandise from an underrated film.

I have the Whitman puzzle, but I've never seen this before. there's precious little Doc savage collectibles out there...all I've really ever found were a Bantam poster and some bronze pins, and some really high-end statues I couldn't afford.
Maybe DC Direct will issue some Doc merchandise statues or figures with the new comic relaunch. they seem intent on releasing graphic novel reprints.

there were also some hardback reprints ofthe pulps that were targeted at a younger audience from Golden Press. The illustrations sure looked a lot like the guy in the movie.
