i missed this when it came out.based on a true story the place in the film is about 15 miles from where i live.it's a bit like the conjuring 2.

Good movie but I think the end went over the top.

if you notice they all tend to go over the top in the last 15 minutes.they all go for a big spectacular ending.that's why i like the ghost stories for christmas they are creepy but subtle.

i wonder why the families that come under attack are always catholic.you never see a protestant,hindu or buddhist family been haunted or possessed.

I think it's because they bring it onto themselves.

Growing up my family were Roman Catholic and many of them seen ghosts, had weird supernatural experiences etc.

Most Catholics are raised to be scared of their own poop - hell, possessions, devils, demons, purgatory etc. - and that baggage carries over into adult life.

Am I saying it's all in their own head ? ....... Probably 99% of time.

The 1% I experienced personally and have no explanation

you're probably right that would explain why some african families over here were killing their kids saying they were possessed,not sure what religeon they were.

Maybe Santa Ria ... African Voodoo mixed with Catholicism that spawned in the Caribbean.

i watched housebound last night.it reminded me of the boy 2016 a bit .the boy is more eerie though and doesn't have the comedy that housebound has.
