    Best Wonder Woman?

JLA, WGSH or Super Friends? Any comparison pics?

I've been wanting to collect the Super Friends because I think Superman, Robin and Aquaman all look pretty good. But I've been holding off because I'm worried about Batman and the Super Friends WW doesn't look that great in the pictures I've seen. Does she look better in person or is the JLA or WGSH a good substitute and fits in well with the other Super Friends?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Super Friends Wonder Woman is best, she just needs JLA WW'S lasso.

A different line of course, but the Retro Action Mattel Wonder Woman is pretty sweet! I was lucky to find one a few years back at ToysRUs.

Im sure she is ok despite the body issues. You can always buy some cord for the lasso, why they didn't include it beyond me? I made my own lasso and sewed my own WW tv series costume using an old Mego head and a Barbie body to replace the decaying Mego body.

Is it confirmed that Farrow will be doing the sculpts for the new WW line? Is this the same guy that did the sculpts for Raven and Starfire and Super Friends WW? If so, then I am seriously worried about the WW line.

The males he has sculpted look fine but, again, if he is the one that did Raven and Starfire and SF WW, well...I'm sorry but they look like men. Or at least they don't really look like women. The man cannot sculpt a nice, smooth, feminine, yet strong looking woman. They are all flat-faced, sharp, angular and mad looking.

I have a friend that does drag once in a while and I was showing him my collection. He looked at my Super Friends WW and said she looks like a ****ed off Drag Queen! If that doesn't say something, then I don't know what else there is to say. FTC, you need to step up and get a new sculptor on board. The female figures deserve better treatment! Especially a character as iconic as Wonder Woman! SMH.

So, IMHO, the Super Friends WW has the best costume hands down. The head is an entirely different matter. While the JLA and WGSH use the same head with a bit of a different paint app, they are pretty much direct replicas of the original Mego sculpt. The SF WW is an entirely new sculpt that is really harsh and angular. Between the awkward sculpt and severe paint lines, she looks angry. I honestly don't think she looks a whole lot better in person than she did in the pics. At least mine doesn't.

You could soften the face with some paint touch-up I suppose. Good luck!

The Farrow IS an amazing sculptor and artist however, he does NOT control what FTC wants and has to do things the way the company wants. His figures that are pre FTC are brilliant and breathtaking however, he has to do as the company demands or lose his job. I hope he gets more say so in the Wonder Woman line because he IS the right guy for the job. The issue that many have with FTC in the HORRIBLE bodies that are being used on the females. I cant believe FTC thinks those female bodies are in any way flattering to the head sculpts? Here's what I am talking about, look at that crazy body in comparison to the head size! Yikes

Which, at least to me, seems strangely correct -- as a kid watching Super Friends, Wonder Woman always looked and sounded angry to me.

A lot of times, Wonder Woman was the only one who actually accomplished anything in the group. I'm sure it was annoying to her!
