I have to say those Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. (see what I did there?) heads are two of the best looking sculpts I've seen.
Really nails the comic art.

But what's up with Mary? Seems they half listened to us and re-used the SG head but Mary is a brunette, not a redhead.

And Starfire and Raven keep the big head syndrome alive again....What was wrong with just using a Black Hair IG head for Raven,
and coming up with a decent sculpt for Starfire? and the body....I just don't know what to say about FTC at this point......

Nice! They really nailed the head sculpt of Captain Marvel.

Mary Marvel is an improvement, no matter how you cut it. Perfect? No. But better.

Whoever does the Photoshop for FTC needs to be replaced though, because the pictures of CM jr and Captain Sivana make them look huge in comparison to the other two.

Anyway, hopefully this is a sign of things to come with the other series like The Flash.

Looking at the New Teen Titans now....

I just complained in another thread about Nightwing's sleeves. It looks like that was rectified and the whole glove and sleeve area was redone. Very nice!

Cyborg looks to be improved from the early proto pictures as well. i wasn't as impressed as many others were, but I like what I see now.

I am happy with Raven. She might be a little too covered up, in comparison to the comic art, but that's fine.

For not having a female figure with the proper torso, Starfire came out better than I expected on the Mego body. They could have softened her facial features a bit; Starfire is a happy character, which seems to give FTC fits in sculpting.

Looking forward to both the NTT and Marvel Family figures. NTT cardback has me fiending to see Series 2.

Unfortunately, assuming the lightning bolts on Cap and Jr.'s chests are the same size, I think Jr. probably has a giant head...as well as Sivana, which doesn't bother me as much.

Jr. and Sivana might be on teen bodies however and therefore the lightning bolt wouldn't necessarily be the same size. I can't tell. I like the Jr. sculpt a lot, so I hope I'm wrong.

And I like Cap's head too. The size looks good!

I'll have to say that I'm pretty happy with these. Captain Marvel looks great! Definitely better than the Mattel head. The rest in that line, we had pretty much seen before. But they look pretty good.

For the Teen Titans, I'm pretty happy too. The girls turned out better than I expected. The heads are in scale with other female figures, if not with the guys. The costumes are pretty solid. I like the improvements on Cyborg's costume. Even Nightwing looks a little more refined. I'll probably hold off on getting these though until we see if they do a second wave with an 8" Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Speedy and Aqualad. The younger Teen Titans figures definitely won't fit in with these figures.

Captain Marvel and Cap Jr look great, although it looks like Jr has a huge noggin'. Mary is just a mess, worse than the previous version which was awful too. The Sivana head looks nice, but way too big.

Love the Marvels, but ... Jr should have a RED cape trimmed in yellow.

Love both waves CC Beck Shazam head and nice head on Jr, too! although Mary has Super Gals head and Jr has a white cape rather than red. Hope Shazam Series 2 has 7" Billy Batson, the Wizard Shazam, Uncle Dudley in costume, and Mr. Tawky Tawny the tiger! And a Mr Mind Monster Society of Evil wave Black Adam, Ibaac, Kull the conquerer and Mr Atom!

1980s Wolfman/ Pérez New Teen Titans my favorite Titans! Like all 4 head sculpts and costumes! I hope FTC makes 8" Wonder Girl (new head) and Jericho and 7" Changeling pictured on card back. 8" Kid Flash and Deathstroke are my next wants. Looking forward to 7" Teen Titans Series 2 also 7" Robin, Betty Kane Bat-Girl, Hawk and Dove. Titans Together!

Why is it so difficult to create a decent female figure. The heads, bodies and clothes are just awful. This Mary Marvel is actually hideous. Starfire and Raven aren't much better. All easy passes for me, IMO.

So the Shazam head sculpt looks spot on! Love it. And the costumes look pretty good overall.

The rest of them? No so sure...
Starfire (WTH is going on with her mis-matched eyes?) and Raven look mad as hell. As does Nightwing and Shazam, Jr.
Is it just me or are the sculpts starting to look alike? All just a little "off". All angry. All too big. Flat-faced with a huge jaw line. Especially the women. If you put WW, Raven, Batgirl 66 and Starfire all next to each other, there is a definite pattern. It's like the Angry Wive's Club or something.

And the description states that the Mary Marvel head is a new sculpt as well? Looks like the generic (Supergirl/Lois/WW) head with a repaint and different hair to me.

All that being said, we have some AMAZING sculptors and artists on this site that I think could do a much better job with some of these head sculpts. How are some of them not involved in this line? If all future head sculpts are going to come from the same guy, I'm a bit saddened by that. And I'm not including myself here. I can knock out a pretty decent POTA sculpt but when it comes to humans, and especially females, that is NOT my area. Just saying. Not sure what the deal is with the current sculptor but with all due respect, it may be time for FTC to look for some new talent. Give someone else a crack at the head sculpts and I bet we would all be amazed at what is possible.

I like Starfire, although her expression needs work. She is one of the happiest characters in DC, and that is in spite of all the crap that she has been through.

Raven looks masculine with that sculpt, but it's still better than the Solomon Kane head!

It's too bad that the bodies are such a mess. Starfire is known for being very curvaceous and this body just ISN'T!

If there was a torso in that shade that we could exchange with this one, then I wouldn't mind putting down the cash to do a swap.
