Nice! Comics from back in the days when comics were actually fun to read!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

I got an extra volume 2 along with a Ironman trade for sale. Don't be afraid to make an offer. http://m.ebay.com/itm/marvel-firsts-.../201501345990?

You said it. I'm excited to dig through. They have some rare stories between the cover featured heroes. A hidden gem, War is hell #9 was in vol 2. I also haven't read tales to Astonish #27 yet.

Some more of my recent comic pickups

And last but not least one of favorites of all-time. My dad brought home a handful of comics from a sidewalk sale as a kid and this was one of them. That copy was beat to sh** but I read it enough times. It's now somewhat a key issue notable for being an early Guardians appearance.

Now I need to stop spending money.

Great comics. I'd recommend picking up Defenders Giant-Sized #3 if you don't already have it. Good story and some of the Defenders are killed off but of course brought back

I've seen that cover before. I'm through buying individual issues online but if it comes in a lot I'll check it for sure. That giant size FF lot I got was near mint.

Not trying to beat a dead horse but the Marvel Defenders Treasury Edition is also a lot of fun and can be had pretty cheap.

I picked one up at a local toy show a few weeks back for $10

Not a huge fan of the Treasuries I sold off a collection of them. But the Defenders is the one I had my eye on.
Once I get a display case I'll show off my Marvel Universe figures. I'll have a shelf of the Defenders and other of all pre-1980 X-Men characters.
