Pricing Question: Batcave vs Aquaman vs Shark - Pricing Question

Does anyone know why the Batcave and the Aquaman vs Shark are the same price. Not trying to be negative just honestly trying to understand the reasoning. You guys seem to know much more about toy business than I do and understand how products are made and the cost of manufacturing etc. But I don't see why they would cost the same. The Batcave seems more involved and more expensive to produce. Thanks!

I don't have any hard facts, but I imagine the money spent to obtain an original Shark sample and then update it for copyright purposes likely played a big role in that piece. I'm personally glad we could get both pieces for that price. If it's anything like their Batcave replica, it will be incredible.

Having discovered how much some of the tiniest parts cost on some of the figures, what Tom says is very probable. In reality, it is not cheap to tool some of these parts. Thankfully, they are not in the out of the question price range,like hot toys items. The shark play sets are on the way and will be under a lot of lucky mego collectors Xmas trees this season.
