    Mego Mad Monsters Love

I adore the Mego Mad Monsters, it's definitely in my top five all time Monster toy lines (which I'll speak more about this month). While Mego didn't get the Universal license, they created a really crazy series of generic Monster figures that even glow in the dark!

Here's Mego Dracula and the Mummy in their glowing form.

Here is the stunning Mego Counter Display box featuring gorgeous art by the legendary Gray Morrow.

I don't have all of the Mad Monsters in every one of their packaging formats but I am obsessed with Frankenstein, so i grab every single thing I see that I don't have.

For more on the Mego Mad Monsters, you should really visit the Mego Museum Galleries it's the best resource there is for the line.

That Wolfman really could pass as the one from Monster Squad. I really need to complete my set and pick up a Mummy.

I have the inferior CTVT set, but I still love them. Just a lot of fun! The design of the Wolfman was ahead of it's time, going for the full-on wolf head. I guess maybe that was floating about the ether in the days before An American Werewolf in London. You had Man-Wolf over at Marvel, and then this.

I still gotta pick up a boxed Wolfman.

I cheated on my Mego Monster display with their Tomland counterparts because I always loved the Fly. I also snuck the CTVT in for background.

          WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

I love this line--I did so as a child, and I think I like them even more now. I have t1 and t2 sets and a castle, but Lion Rock and smooth-haired versions still elude me. I think the Mummy is underrated, I like the bodysuit very much and the sculpt is terrific.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.
