In tradition of all the other great Mego-style figures, I would love to see an 8 inch figure of The Shadow. Would anyone else be interested? Also, what accessories could it include?

An excellent choice. He makes a great Mego figure, and he would fit right in with the DC Megos. Recall, in the early part of the 70's, DC had the license for the Shadow, gave him his own book, and he even made two appearances in Batman's own comic book (the episode of the Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians called "The Fear" was loosely but not too loosely based on the second Batman comic story the Shadow appeared in). -
yep, I'd be all over a pulp heroes line. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I've been wanting someone to make really nice 8" figures based on characters from the golden age of pulp magazines.
The Shadow, Doc Savage, The Black Bat, The Spider, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Zorro, John Carter, etc.Comment

Love listening to old Shadow radio programs either online, satellite or CD. The Shadow KNOWS this would be a great figure. It would be a crime if he wasn't made. AND..."The weed of crime bears bitter fruit. Crime does NOT pay. The Shadow knows!Comment

^I seriously doubt FTC would pay Conde-Nast rights to the character and then base an offering on a decades-old movie, regardless of its good or bad points. Dynamite Comics has been publishing the character, and before that, DC.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I would go "koo koo for Cocoa Puffs" for a Mego Type Shadow figure. I think my shelf would be ecstatic with The Shadow standing next to Batman and The Phantom. I was really hoping Castaway would have grant us The Shadow and Doc Savage a few years ago. I'm hoping FTC would give The Shadow and Doc Savage.Comment
