My favorite after school cartoon growing up was Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets.

Has anyone ever done these in mego format? I have NOT heard anything about FTC even thinking about getting the license for these figures, but it would be great!

Has anyone even made the helmets or heads to do customs of these figures?

I believe there were Japanese versions of the characters in Mego style:

Not sure if they did everyone. I think they would be a great addition, especially since Battle of the Planets aired during the Mego years.

Black Knight has been doing customs of these guys for over a year I think. Mark, Jason, Princess and Keyop have been done so far...

Battle of the Planets and Ultraman are two licenses I continue to dream of seeing in an extensive Mego line.

Black Knights set is awesome! I have them all - just waiting on J to make Tiny (I'll post some pics later for you or tomorrow)

Would still be awesome to see these guys factory produced - They do make 12" figures of these guys and some of the higher end ones are really awesome.

I'd buy them for sure, and I'd love to have Speed Racer figures as well. I'm still hoping Jonny Quest will show up too!
