Those are AWESOME!!! I think as much as I can't stand the way books are printed these days....Jack's art would definitely benefit from today's printing on the coated paper and richer colors. Thanks for sharing that. It just shows that Jack was way ahead of his time.

Now THIS is what I want to see in an FF movie! Granted it would be difficult to adapt Kirby's particular styles to film, but if you find an imaginative enough team, I'm sure it could be pulled off.
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

To me, this just proves that the comics themselves are the best templates for adaptation, not what Hollywood thinks comics "are." Kirby is truly cinematic.

I'm becoming more and more of a Kirby fan as I get older. I realize his sense of design now with a more discerning eye. He was still not good at basic human anatomy but his overall page structure and character design was groundbreaking
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Absolutely. It's insane. The storyboards are already finished. Why try to reinvent. I would love to see Kirby style made literal in production design.

            And in 3D.

It's something audiences have never seen before, so why not?
