    Vintage market inaccuracies

In your option which items go for too much based on your experience with rarity, demand, etc.

I'll start the Secret Wars Magneto is an absolute steal at $10-20 moc. Given the x-men popularity he isn't on par with Wolverine and Iceman within the same line. A very affordable piece of early mutant merch.

On the other hand the sears Blue snaggletooth always is always available but brings big money more often than not.

Well this thread went over like a fart at church.
Sorry for going too high concept. What I meant was are they any prices of vintage toys that you don't understand why they are soo low or high.

Mego's KISS line is way more common than anyone wants to acknowledge. It's mainly buoyed by music and non toy dealers as being rare and expensive, plus there (was, not sure as much now with FTC) a stream of fan demand keeping the prices high.

Yes that's true. I see them everywhere. Every so often somebody tries to sell them on craiglist. Mego made a few music dolls, Its too bad mego didn't try to capitalize on Elvis's death in 1977. A 1:6 Vegas King would have been cool.

The 12' Batman is another one that brings good money despite being common and the majority being old store stock.

Actually they're warehouse stock, my pal was offering them through Diamond until about 2000. I get shocked when I see them for $500 now.

Are loose complete turtles bringing anything? A family member has a few.

as far as the TMNT it depends on the character. Some of the different animals do go rather high. Sandstorm the Camel went up when Joe Camel was banned from Camel cigarettes because they look the same. Another TMNT character that goes for a huge amount is the Dalmatian Hotspot.
