Went to see Fantastic Four today

I had to see it for myself despite what the critics said. No other word describes this movie besides

    Awful

This movie should never have been associated with the beloved Fantastic Four comics I read. Fox should be ashamed of themselves for releasing this garbage. I will never watch this movie again.

Also posted this in the other thread.
I saw it yesterday. My curiosity got the better of me.
As a die hard FF fan, I can say that this isn't the Fantastic Four.
I didn't think Doctor Doom could be portrayed worse than he was in those two Tim Story films. Boy, was I wrong.
At least the Thing does look pretty powerful and imposing in this movie. Just wish they'd given him trunks.
I really hope Marvel Studios gets the cinematic rights to the FF back.
      PUNY HUMANS!

It's not the $7.00 to me...it's sending Fox the message that they can turn out crap and we'll still pay to see it. I won't give them a penny to add to their box office number's.

I will not go see it either. when it comes on HBO or Netflix, which I already pay for, I will watch it. not before. we all predicted this movie would tank and I am not sorry to see it happen. it means fox will not make a sequel and the rights will go back to Marvel in a few years, who can then make a proper F4 movie. if the comic book movies have not burned out by then

Sooner or later there was going to be a truly bad Superhero movie. I'm just sorry that it had to be The Fantastic Four.

I gave my money to all the X-men movies and besides First Class I disliked all of them. This Fantastic Four movie is no different. Fox will eventually get their money regardless if someone rents it, buys it, watches it on Netflix, or watches it on tv.

I'll watch it at the theater...but no...not paying for it. It's easy to theater hop at my local multiplex, so after I check out the upcoming Man from Uncle...I'm going to sneak into the Fantastic Dud movie...curiosity is killing me...but I guarantee and promise everyone here, not a single penny is going to that movie, lol.

Two movies for the price of one by theater hopping?

No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

                      Book 'em, Danno...

But seriously, yes, I'm going to theater hop...given that the theater itself rob moviegoers left and right at the concession stand. So yes, I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with the occasional theater hop...besides...the multiplex that I go to...doesn't even bother checking...so it's all good, lol...

Actually a lot of theaters turn the other way...they want you to hang around...so you can keep buying $13 popcorn/soda combos, lol...

I'll wait until it's out on TV, in a year or so.
Then they get my standard 15 minutes. If I'm not convinced by then, I switch to something else.
It looks awful enough, so I'm not wasting time and money.
Still waiting for a decent FF movie, and I don't think we'll be getting one anytime soon now...

                            That would be my recommendation.

Can't Marvel sue Fox for the rights back?
I would think any good lawyer could argue that Fox's handling of the film was damaging to both the property itself and by association, the Marvel brand. They should be forced to sell the rights back at this point. This film was an insult to Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, Marvel and it's fans.
