    Amazing Spider-Man Alex Ross redesign

Nothing too severe this time... light up chest! I'm getting a Remco Energized Spider-Man vibe.

I've been enjoying the series for quite a few years now, including the Superior run. Creative team remains the same. I'm sticking with it. Going to be fun to see Peter Parker TRY to be a globe-trotting playboy like Tony Stark for a while (likely failing given how the series has been playing out so far with Peter as the head of Parker Industries, and not Otto Octavius in Peter's body).

    also Toyetic new Spider-Mobile.

Ross always does a nice job with the all-too-crucial eyes.

With all the weird Spidey costumes they've thrown at us in the last 10 or so years, that's downright traditional.

I really like Ross' Spidey eyes too. An amalgam of Ditko and early Romita.

Okay, this is totally freaking awesome. I LOVE this costume and that Spider-Car is SICK in Spider-Mode!

Ross is, IMHO, one of the only people who can capture the classic "Romita eyes" and update them while still keeping them true to what came before. As to the new suit---eh, 's'okay, but I sure am getting tired of super types constantly changing their wardrobe. One might almost be lead to believe they're nothing but a bunch of muscle-bound, enhanced-ability fashionistas. I'm thinking there's likely some Stark tech at work in this version of the suit, henceforth the glowing spider. Why he would need a glowing spider is beyond me; Spidey usually works best, like The Batman, in the shadows and you certainly aren't going to find Bruce Wayne sporting a glowing bat-symbol on his chest to announce the the criminal element: "Here I am!"
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

It's pure Parker technology (likely with Otto's Superior innovations thrown in) given where the series was at pre Secret Wars. Parker's competing with Stark now from the sounds of things.

Not sure why, but part of me is suspecting this might be the direction the new movie outfit might be heading, given how these things work in the realm of corporate synergy (notice Ant Mans been running around in his movie outfit)

Spidey has a motorcycle that can climb walls, etc. on the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series. The tail is once again wagging the dog.

THIS. I love the Romita eyes treatment as well. Hopefully that will eventually translate onto the big screen. They've come close, but no cigar thus far.

I like it. I prefer these style eyes to the enormous McFarlane ones everyone's been doing for so long now.

Although, except for the glowy spider, it's really pretty close to Garfield's costume from the first ASM.

Spider-Man 2099 gets a make-over as well. Also: Spiderverse spins out into Webbed Warriors... not to be confused with Ultimate Spiderman Webbed Warriors the cartoon/all ages comic. More Ross covers.

no sign of ROM (Habro owns him), but Venom is now a Spaceknight.

looks like him, he got a lot of screen time in Franken-Castle. Guess it paid off for him.
