Best glue to use with new Action Jackson type heads?

    Hi,

I bought several of the resin Action Jackson type (really cool bearded and non bearded versions)\ heads from Castaway/8 Inch Super heroes.
The quality and paint is awesome.
One problem I did encounter though, I tried to attach them to bodies from Dr. Mego (the ones with the screws in the back).
Normally I just heat up vinyl heads with a hair dryer for a few seconds and then pop them on the bodies.
This time I tried that and the glue that held the heads to the neck plugs did not hold and the pieces separated.
I just want to find out what the best glue is to use to attach the heads back to the neck plugs.
Any advice would be very welcome.
(I tried Super Glue brand on other heads and that did not bond well.)

    Thanks,

    Gabe

These heads are injection molded PVC, not rotocast vinyl, so heating them up won't work as a method to attach them. If the body you're using has screws you should disassemble it to attach the head. As for what type of glue you should use to reattach the neck plug, this is what I use, Loctite Super Glue.

Yeah, I had taken the torso apart and then adjusted the neck plug for the best fit and then just put a touch of dollar store super glue on it, and it held fine.

        Thanks, Zica!
I will give Loctite Super Glue a try.

          Thanks Starroid Raiders Dagon!
I took apart the torso, though it took me a while to get the arms to stay in place (the rubber bands and hook are not easy to get back in place).

Obviously not a type "S" body

Loctite works amazingly well. Had two heads with the same issue, dabbed on some Loctite and problem solved.
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."
