8" muscle bodies

This may not be the right area for this question but it is FTC/CTVT related so... here it goes.Are the 8" muscular bodies sold by ctvt the same size as the original mego muscle bodies or are they the same size as a normal 8"body?Mattell darkseid needs a new body.

They are sized like vintage & pretty well-made.

The Mattel Darkseid is a regular Mattel 8" body. The bulk comes from padding in the clothing. I don't think a Muscle body would work with the boots

True. The best thing I have come up with is to use Famous Covers boots, boiling them to soften them up in conjunction with shaving the width of the foot on the muscle body.

Yep - I do it the same way as Steve (EMCE HAMMER)
Or you could go with a Brock Body - with the Mattel DS padded pants - Might give you the size you are looking for.

Although there isn't much use for them other than Grey, Red and Green Hulks, of all the bodies they produce they are their best produced bodies.

I have purchased a couple of the flesh colored muscle bodies. They are indeed the same as the Hulk and Thing bodies.

IMO, they are prime to be redone with the snap off boots and gloves similar to the 66 line. It would be a great improvement for FTC to jump on.
