    Agent Carter

Now this was good! I only wish it was an ongoing series, I really love me that 1940s era stuff! And Hayley Atwell- wow. Wow!
This is what the regular Shield series needs, more action and less soap. It was a quick two hours last night.

Next week it looks like Dum Dum Dugan is showing up. Hopefully we'll see a few early Marvel heroes ? Like the Angel, the Fiery Mask, or other members of The Twelve, guys with limited or no powers? Leet Brannis was a Whizzer villain.

Hayley Atwell single-handedly drives the show, she's excellent and is easy on the eyes

I thought these first two eps were fine, not bad or great. Ratings were better than Shield, but each successive half-hour of the show saw declines. So there's good news with bad for ABC.

I thought they really borrowed heavily from Fringe but I like Fringe so it didn't bug me.

Enjoyable show with a woman whom I'd watch read the phone book.

My wife and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Way more fun than Agents of Shield.

Those two hours did go by fast watching the show. With only 8 episode in season one expect the fast paced story.

I really dug it and as I mentioned on Facebook, it was educational Never knew what an Automat was. And I am 100% with Brian on this one, that Hayley Atwell sure has a tonne of charisma.

I liked it a lot, too. It was fun and Atwell is great. I could see the male chauvinist angle getting tired pretty quick, but it was a promising start. I wonder if we've met Sharon's dad yet. I!d like to see a Dominic Fortune guest appearance.

I was thinking the same thing when they started communicating two ways on that typewriter.

I was very pleased with Agent Carter, excellent story, the right amount of action and Hayley Atwell is an absolute knockout

Yes, I caught the nod to Fringe with the typewriter as did my wife.

Looking forward to next week's episode.

agreed, it was a fun two hours. looking forward to the rest of this mini series. I would say if it does well in the ratings they will give it a full series run

I like this Jarvis better than the computer in the IM movies.

great show, I'm a sucker for period stuff so this is a welcome tv show for me. The female putdown stuff was wearing thin thru these two episodes so I hope they get Carter proving herself to the other agents quickly and move on from it at least in the office.

I don't think the guys are going to come around very quickly, if at all. This is the 1940s, and they are showing how it was in those days. Our sensibilities may not be used to it, or like it, but it's accurate and I think it works as a plot device.

I appreciate that its the times, but it seems a bit overdone beat you over the head with it.
