Hi guys,
I just got my son some dc retro figures. One of them was captain marvel and he asked me if they made the boy that turns into him. That got me thinking about what the recipe would be for a custom billy batson. Maybe you start with a lion rock body or something. My guess is someone has already made one here. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

For past projects, I've been able to pull the hands out of 8" Megos using the old hot water trick, but am having a *hard time* doing it with the *vintage 12"ers*.

BTW, I am trying to pull out the full hand, stem and all. Should I focus on pushing out the pin joining the hand piece to the stem piece (the stem fits inside the lower arm piece)?

Look for "Self-Holding Rollers", 6 pack, about $2.50 CAN

Elsewhere in this thread I posted about making a custom figure for a special 9 year old.So far the Mego Museum Community is come through in a big way for him.At the moment I'm stuck on how to make these gloves/gauntlets for the figure.Below is what I'm trying to achieve but the lightbulb hasn't gone on yet.I bought some white wrist bands from CTVT but I'm not sure how to get the desired look.I know after they're done they will need to be painted gold.If anybody has any ideas or can help me out,I would greatly appreciate it.I don't mind paying for the help as I would need 2 sets of these made. Thanks again to everyone who's helped so far and continues to help on this project.Pictures will be posted of the finished figure with John Williams,to be continued......
