    Absorbing Man and Joe Fixit

I was shrinking a Captain Picard head from a Playmates figure a while back and it got damaged in the acetone. So I used some sculpey to make it into an Absorbing Man head. I put it on a Playing Mantis AJ body and added a ball & chain from a Toybiz Absorbing Man I found in a budget bin. the pants are from a mego Wizard of Oz. I know the stripes should go the other way, but I wanted at least one part of the custom to be from Mego.
The Joe Fixit was a throw together. I had bought a Marvel Legends Gray Hulk. My wife kept telling me it did not look good displayed with Megos, since it did not have cloth clothing. I was going to sew purple Hulk shorts for it, but never got around to it. A freind gave me some non-Mego figures he found recently, including a Blues Brothers figure from the 90s. I removed the black suit and tried to think of something to use it for. Out of curiosity I decided to try it on the Gray Hulk. With very little alterations, it fit. I am going to paint the hands white and then try to find some black shoes that will fit.

Great customs! The Absorbing Man really rocks! I'm currently working on a custom using the PM AJ. Hope to post it in the next century or so
