I would really love to see this series continue. I broke down and bought a set of series 1 and 2. The combination of Mego figures and Kenner cards was just impossible to resist.

^^^MegoKnight, is there anywhere I can look to find HOW to remove the Mattel RA figures heads properly to use w/ FTC bodies? I just ASSumed the BOIL & POP method foolishly, & decapitated TWO FACE tragically! Thanks for any info!

I'd put the whole figure in the freezer, then take a hammer to the body and shatter that sucker! Those bodies suck anyway.

LMAO! My nephew who's on the spectrum would be upset it I did that to all the Mattel RA figures, because 1 of his all time favs when we were playing RA figs was taking *DRUNK (& on muscle relaxers) SUPERMAN & saying "Up, Up & Away.........wait He's SLEEPING!" -while making Superman fly & he just drops & flops over @ his waist while flying through the air. /my nephew Tony makes me do it over & over & then he does it over & over & over.....repetition is a staple for kids on the spectrum. But I must say, through FP Little People, then JL/JLU figures, MOTUC & finally re-Mego, I took a kid that was considered to be possibly NON-verbal to a mini-me....he also NEVER Shuts Up & has a better vocabulary than most high school students (he's 10) due to Playing toys w/ him constantly.

I crushed the mattel bodies off and removed the heads, the head plug has a plastic thing in it that makes it next to impossible to just pull the head off. The mattel head does fit perfectly on a type S body though. I do mean perfectly.

Yeah Mattel really messed up that line, the terrible bodies were a big part of that. So take out your frustration on the crappy body and remove the only good parts, the head and costume.

Yup. that's what I do! I just the crush torso with my vice grips...the bodies go in the trash.
