Concrete Playground structures

Sure we all remember the cool monkey bars, or the hot sliding board that burned your legs in the suumer, but I really miss concrete playground equipment. I know a lot of playgrounds in NYC had these, and the cool thing was thet could be anything...an animal, a weird shape, or something even resembling monkey bars. My faves were the Nautilus and the ones that looked like stacked barrels w/ holes for climbing and crawling through. One of our local playgrounds had these up until about 10 years ago. I was sad to see them gone.

What kinds of concrete playground structures do you remember?

I remember the Nautilus, and we had one that kind of reminded me of a giant tortoise shell. I think we also had something akin to those stacked barrels but I remembered them being thicker, more tire-like.

I remember 40 years ago going down to Hermann Park and climbing up inside the metal 4 story high rocket. It eventually rusted away.

our school playground had these two concrete blocks, with one side wall open. They were probably about 4.5 or 5 foot tall. Kind of like a box turned on it's side. They were fun for some reason.
