Ready the Bat-Flesh-Crayon Robin

I found this at flea market recently, seeing it triggered all sorts of good memories and it still had it's foam piece, so ten dollars left my pocket before I knew what hit me.


I'm sure I had this, probably more than once, that zipper combined with the cheap vinyl lasted about a half an hour but it didn't seem to matter, it was a Batman pencil case!

That's 70s Bat-goodness, right there. Perfect example of Bat-merchandise from that era. The logo, the recycled 60s art...I love it.

I had the same one, and used it throughout elementary school. I still have it, and yours is in much nicer condition. I distinctly remember when it was new, it had that new school supply smell... delicious.

Here is mine from childhood. See those bluish ink blobs? Those are Star Trek the Motion Picture ink stamps of the movie Enterprise and a VERY 1979 Captain Kirk.
