Kenner Alien Dome color?

Did the original Kenner Alien come with a clear or smoked, tinted dome?

I've personally only had the smoked versions before, several boxed and loose ones over the years, but have heard the clear style was original as well but I can't confirm it.

The dome on my Kenner Alien is smoked/tinted. The one on my 1984 Tsukuda Alien is clear.
