    1975 Kenner Bionic Man ?

Greetings, Does anyone know of a good resource online or other that details all the small differences between the different releases of the original Kenner Six Million Dollar Man figures? Specifically - between the versions 1 & 1.5. Thanks.

It would nice to see a more thorough website with information regarding vintage Bionic Man toys. Here is some info I have gathered:
-"True 1st" edition and version 1.5 Bionic Man - the first release has lighter color hair and skin, has elastic in the shirt sleeve cuffs, and a non-removable left arm. The 2 versions of the 1st edition look alike and both have 2 bionic arm modules but Kenner made some running changes due to parents and kids complaints. Version 1.5 has a looser fitting suit which makes it easier to take off. The elastic in the wrist cuffs was removed making access the roll-up bionic skin feature easier without damaging the skin. Version 1.5 is the first version with two removable arms. The instructions with version 1.5 changed to include - both arms snap off and are removable. Both versions of the 1st edition are completed with a lifting motor accessory. There are known non-elastic cuff versions with non-removable left arm. The "true 1st" was only produced for a very short time before being modified and are much rarer and more sought after than later versions. The value of a "true 1st" is about 2 to 3 times greater than that of the 1.5, depending on condition of course.
    - The 2nd edition Steve Austin figure features a bionic grip and is completed with an orange lifting I beam accessory. Version 2 has different ankle joints which rotate 360 degrees. This figure was made with a silver bionic grip arm with only one removable bionic module and a yellow non-removable bionic module which is used to activate his bionic grip. It also has a bionic circuit sticker just above his wrist. Version 2 has a darker skin complexion and hair paint, and both arms are removable as well. It is not uncommon for the bionic grip on this version to not always work, even on fresh from the box specimens. It is also know for having weak knees and is generally regarded as being of slightly lesser quality than the 1st version.
    - The 3rd edition features a biosonic arm with bionic grip and is the rarest version of the Bionic Man figure. It is the only version to not have a push button on its back and it's clothes and accessories are unique, making it very easy to identify.

Had to do a bit of digging just to find that essential info on the main figure. There's an opportunity here for someone to create a truly awesome Bionic Man website, would probably get a lot of traffic. Found this interesting thread on the elusive blue-suited Steve Austin : http://megomuseum.com/community/show...ar-Man-Mystery

Only the right ("bionic") arm is removable, but both legs are removable as well. Two of the accessory packs in the line were the (three) Critical Assignment (right) Arms and (left and right) Critical Assignment Legs. That was the reason they made those limbs removable.
