This project began after trying to figure out what to do with all my extra Doc Mego and CTVT parts. I had an extra CTVT Fonzie body and noticed that it was about 1/2" larger than the standard CTVT male body. I used the size difference to give Batman a taller stature - especially when compared to Robin. I tried to keep the style as Mego-like as possible, yet still capture the likeness of the actors. I was pleasantly surprised how well the head worked out.

Nice and clean! The scale is spot on and the gloves are a really nice touch. The Batman color is more Superfriends than the TV show navy (almost purple looking) shade of blue, but it still works really well.

Thanks! I used Scribbles fabric paint from Wal-Mart. I like it because it's flexible.
Nice customs! What did you use for the heads? Custom sculpts?
I haven't tried custom sculpts yet. I used a modified John Boy Walton head for Batman and a CTVT Richie Cunningham head for Robin.

Indeed. I don't think I have met a guy much nicer then him to work with over the Internet. I have much more stuff to order from him. His gloves are the mego "fix" to those horrible oven mits they gave Batman and Robin. I could never get past those things. They suck.
