The arm on my Riddler snapped off

The arms were strung so tight it ripped through at the shoulder. I emailed FTC and they are sending another body and a tie.

I took the body apart and the rubber bands are too short, that's why the figures are so tight. It's about half an inch shorter versus the original Megos from what I remember.

I see Doc Mego has replacement 'O' rings for $2.00, might go with these and swap out on the first 2 waves. Has anyone used them? Or better yet what size O ring is best, I assume you can get these from Lowes or Amazon?

Found it with some Googling, looks like 18mm is the right size. $2 for a dozen or so at Home Depot. Cheap and easy fix for tight bodies in the 1st two waves.

Doing better than me,a couple of orders ago I ordered a set of knights and black knight must have battled all the way here.
He had a busted sword, shield and hand.
I emailed ctvt right away they said they'd replace busted parts on my next order.
My next order was placed I notified them of the previous busted parts told me not to worry.
My new order came in and no replacement parts for the bk.???
Hope it works out for you.

Maybe you should play nicer with your dollies and they wouldn't break.

Actually it was stored on the card. BTW who calls them 'dollies'? Is your favorite Mego Grandma Walton?

Player, was it the Retro Riddler or the Batman 66 Riddler? The reason I'm asking, is I own both.
Repairing is discussed on the Custom Mego Discussions board a lot. The Mego Museum is a 'think-tank' of fantastic ideas.

I did a post on restringing a type 2 body complete with photos and illustrations, based on the information available here. There are so many different ways, it's amazing.

fallensaviour, I got a CTVT BK shield and extra hands. Let me look for his sword.

Lonnie, I got a copyright on evil around here.

DR it's the Riddler first wave, not the 66 series. I saw the restringing articles but would rather go with o rings to avoid the bowlegged look.

I restring CTVT bodies all the time and the O-Ring that I use and found to be a good replacement are 13/16th"O.Dx5/8th"I.D.x3/32" - Danco brand #12

Thank you, I had decided that was the size I was going to try first, thanks for the confirmation.

SHE'S NOT GRANDMA WALTON!!! It's really Aunt May. They just packaged her in the wrong box. Stupid Mago company.

And may I add what a handsome lady she is.

I had success by uncrossing the bands. Still a little snug but not nearly as bowlegged.
