    G.I. Joe Field Training Center

While I never had this great set, I ogled it dozens of times in the amazing GI Joe Adventure Team Viewmaster set. So much to love in this thing; ropes, rifles and reptiles!

I lost this a few times on Ebay, but I do have the Colorforms that depict this set. Too cool!

While I had a lot of AT GI Joe stuff this was one item I wanted so bad but never got.

The AT training tower is a fairly common piece and turns up on eBay all the time. The hard part is finding a complete set. In addition to the version pictured here, there was also a Sears exclusive that came with a searchlight, a really cool play mat, and several accessory variations (like a vulture instead of the snake). The hardest piece to find these days is the cave because it was made of really cheap styrofoam and would break if you sneezed on it hard. It didn't make it through many "accidents" when Joe fell off the tower and landed on it! You can usually find just the tower and a few accessories for less than $50. I got this set for Christmas one year and remember being impressed as a little kid at how HUGE it seemed! I think I still have a picture somehwere of me under the tree and the tower off to the side!

Had one as a kid, and loved every min playing with it.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

This and the command center with the tower that raised up out of the middle, were two items I always drooled over, but just never seemed to end up with!
