    Stretchy Mego guys

Got to thinking while replying to another thread that with the Batman '66 forearms that plug into the gloves, Figures has made a way to give guys like Plastic Man or Elongated Man (if they made them) a feature no Mego ever had: the illusion of stretching. If they did do either of the rubber guys, they could make a looonnnngggg glove to fit onto/over the end of the forearm for a "stretch" (much along the lines of Mattel's 6" Elongated Man figure). With Plas, it could be made to look like flesh and the end could tuck under the sleeve to cover it. With EM, it would just slip over the sleeve like a regular glove. Heck, with the latter, you could make elongated boots, as well (that would be hard with Plas, though, as he's barefoot).

Hasbro played around with that idea when they made Mr. Fantastic years ago.
