Wow, incredible job on Logan! :drool_y: Great dimensionality on the head scupt. Almost expected to see a reflection on the side of the claws. Had to be tough to do them. The costume sewing looks like you did a super-tight job. Do you do the kind of hidden seams that BK does on his figures?

((Strangevisitor:))
No sorry ,but it was Machine sewn .
The seems are very tight and very thin.
So they look pretty sleek.
I like to machine all my suits.
To each his own I supose.
I do have a examples of a hidden seemed suit I made.
example: The green Goblin.
He has no seems down the out sides of legs or down his back.
The green scaled fabric was printed here at my shop on spandex.
The head is a head shrink I did from a Moldel kit with hydro span.
The body is a modified mego. Thought it would be better if he was thinner.
I like to make them close to what the body type is in the comic.
The punmkin bombs came form russ at the customlab
I made them magnetic and the hand magnetic to hold bombs with out droping them.
The glider is hand crafted here at my shop out of real steel.
I engraved the air cfaft line in wings as well. The gun is steel and rotates.
Anthony at http://www.geocities.com/thetoyroom/
made the cool boxes that go with them.
thanks dude your the best
Hope this helps answers your question?

I've been lurking here for awhile, and I gotta say your customs are amazing Captain Mego!
There are so many people with a lot of talent here. I'm really happy I joined!
Now I have to ask: how do you sew a seemless costume for your customs?

Fantastic Figure Cap !
Love the Head... it gives the character more so a realistic look rather than a comicbook one. You Suit is very nice as well. Congrats.

I always like the work you do with real steel.
How tough would it be to cast Iron Man with Real Steel pieces? I bet it'd be a bugger with all those different curves.

The hands feature real steel blades hand crafted and shaped to look like the ones in the comic books.
Caution they are really sharp.
Are you sure that box will be strong enough to hold him
Why not real adamantium
Your work is just fantastic.

Indeed. It doesn't get any better than these figures.
As a fellow customizer, I know how much work goes into making a figure like this, so my hat's off to you!
Where do I order?

Mar 15, '08, 12:38 PM
Excellent job! That is one cool Wolverine.
Just out of curiosity (for someone who is just getting into Mego) how much time did you spent on the custom job ?

Mar 15, '08, 1:14 PM
Great work, once again. What can I say that hasn't already been expressed by others?
With your attention to detail and creative approach to making all of your figures I'm curious if you considered making ol' Wolvie "hairy"? That's the only other touch that would make this figure more perfect. I'm at a loss to even guessing at how hairy arms would be done(painting hair on doesn't seem like the answer on a figure of this quality).
Nice work on the head sculpt by the way.

AMAZING Wolverine! (and pretty awesome Goblin as well)
Just incredible and puts one in mind of what all X-Men mego line could've looked like...I can see a derivation of the Batcave/POTA Village turned into the Danger Room.
Any chance we might see some of Wolvie's 1970s buddies...e.g., a Nightcrawler? Just wishin...
Again, an amazing job!

Awesome job Cap! I always look forward to seeing your work. I think it is more fine art then action figure customizing though:grin: Glad to see your back and I am happy your concrete biz is doing well, especially in these rough economic times.

Wow, Logan never looked better. Really like the mouth & the claws - real blades Awesome! I did mine with carpet sewing needles back in the 90's because they had the"curve" already built into the needles, but yours are great.
