    EMCE...Space 1999?

I mean that other companies stuff was truly dreadful.
Plus really how can they put figures out without the main characters.
Koenig and his wife doctor the first two out.

And thats also kinda building on whats come since they never made that girl.

Zzzzz... been there, dome that. 1999 was CTVT's NoTLD, a personal indulgence that has limited mass appeal and no interest beyond a fairly small adult fanbase.

Heard Martin Landau and Barbara Bain wouldn't give permission for there likeness to be made into an Action figure.
      Don't know if it's true.
      Such a shame.

They had a reputation for being very "bossy" and difficult on the show so it wouldn't be a suprise if they didn't give permission.

Space1999 hardly interests me as a tv show, so figures do nothing for me.

How did they make the Mattel versions then?

Personally I think the real stars of the show were the Eagle and the Hawk. They looked like functional O gravity spacecraft. Right down to the Command module/Pod NASA was using on their rockets.

Its a pity 1999 came and went and still no moonbases.

Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
              Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

                I'll have you know I'm 6' 5".

I honestly can't see it happening unless you did a oneshot Commander Koenig, that might sell but I think the CTVT stuff would hurt it.

Well in 1975, ITC had the likeness rights to the principles of the show which have since expired. It seems that if you want to market something other than DVDs now, you have to negotiate the principles separately.

Probably waved some greenbacks at them back then.

                    I'm kinda sick of 1999 ......

For a show that only lasted 2 seasons and had a mediocre following, I think it's been done to death.

                    Let's see something NEW
