Wouldn't LOST IN SPACE EMCE's Be Cool ?

CBS, which now owns Star Trek is currently doing the Trek EMCE figures ......

CBS (I think) also owns Lost In Space ......

I think LIS should be an easy one and big seller .......

Never watched the show myself, but they look like something Mego could have done back in the day.

Is that Guy Williams (Zorro) there??

The best part though is the robot...he'd require totally new molds and such wouldn't he?

Mmm. Good idea. I would like a Mego robot from LIS. And Dr Smith has already had a dolly made of him for Space Academy...could be just shrunken down.

Yep, that would be so cool! I love LIS, and every time I bring it to school, my kids love it! Bring it on!

Yup That would be Awesome but a big part of the show was the many creatures and Villans...which for me added to the show and is why it's one of my all time favs. The Robot is Key.... no Robot and the line is DOA...

I think Boobie is essential, but he'd also be the biggest headache to create and reproduce.
Everything would have to be from scratch.

I think there would almost be as big of market for them as Star Treks repros ......

The Mego nostalgia market is based on 35 - 50 year olds (for the most part)...

Yes, they'd probably be peg warmers in Comic Shops where there's a lot of kids, but I think they'd sell like the dickens on the net.

Mark Goddard actually lives a couple of towns over from me. He grew up in Lowell Mass and went to the same college I did. He is a teacher at a school for disadvantaged kids in Middleboro Mass. A guy I worked with at my last job was a member at the same golf course as he was. Always said he was a real nice guy and would stop and talk to you and sign autographs whenever you asked. Never met him myself. They would be cool figures but I don't know if they would have enough of a following to support an action figure. I agree the internet would definately help sales though. Much easier to reach a wider sales base today then it was 20 years ago.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

The license was definitely in play during CTVT's run, and was definitely a strong consideration at one point.

There are several B9 robots out there that could be shrunk down to Mego size, and I'd sure be interested in the line.

I remember liking the Show as a little Kid...but it's no STAR TREK. I'd pass on them.
