Nightwing Custom

My newest and first real effort.

This is my first Custom that I've posted. I wish I could say I did all the work, but I had a lot of help.:juggleyes_y:
Head is a HUSH Nightwing head I asked Austin to enlarge. I think it turned out great. :drool_y:
Suit is a Reproheads print. I sewed the gauntlet like leather cuffs. I really like the suit, I just wish the black was darker.

The boots are Black superhero boots, and I added sculpty and molded the cool part. I melted a few pair of boots before i figured out how to do it. I think Chips boots would actually look a little better, and they are about half done now.
The torso is one of those cool He man Torsos that I purchased from Ebay, and drilled it out. The rest of the body is type 2 Mego. The hands are CHIPS hands.
I was looking for someone to paint the head but I became impatient and tackled the job myself. I will do better on the next one.
I made the box myself, a few years back for a different Nightwing custom. I dubbed it "The Worlds Lost Heros"
Hopefully I can get the pics to load. lmk what you think.:grin:

I added some other pics further down the post. I like the good comments, now how do I improve on it?

You should be proud of your first custom, he looks fantastic and so does that box. Looks like you painted Bat boots black, you might wanna touch does up a bit. Or get black boots in stead. Other than that I'm impressed

Actually they are black boots with a little blue painted around the bottom and the toe.:yeah:

I think you nailed it. Thats got to be the best looking Night wing I have seen.
Bravo on the team effort as well guys to pull such a great looking figure together.

Thanks for all the nice words. I've wanted to make this figure for some time. I hope with Austin making this head their will be a lot more Nightwing customs out there.

I've always liked a Character that could live in the shadow of the bat and still become his own man, and keep his sanity.

Great job. I like how you modified the boots.

Ok this is my first attempt. First and second are the shazam, and superman heads that I added a sculpty mask. They looked ok, but they still looked like shazam, and superman heads that I added a sculpty mask.

The nice head on the body was created by AquaTroy. It was real nice and very Mego like. I think Troys work stands out and can be easily identified. He also completed a sweet Deathstroke head.

Agreed!! That series has some nice sculpts. The only mistake they made was not making it 8" scale.

I don't know many of these customs that come out, but yours looks just like the box! Excellent work. Maybe I would just touch up his chips hands with a bit of blue. He looks perfect otherwise.

I Think Nightwing Needs a closed fist on his right hand and a left hand that is splayed open. I purchased a fist on Ebay but it was too small to be noticed. Anyone have any ideas?
