What is your NECA wish list?

So we've got Jason and Freddy. Ash from Evil Dead is coming out.

NECA's had/has just about every license under the sun at some point. What else do you want to see?

They have suggestion Rocky. Do folks want that?

Halloween, Hellraiser, Saw, House of 1,000 Corpses, Donnie Darko all feel like sure bets given that they have gotten their feet wet on the horror figures in this format already.

Alien/Aliens is pretty high on my list. This might be a way for us to finally get the entire Nostromo crew without all the tooling costs. Colonel Marines, Bishop, Ripley.

Someone joking mentioned Seinfeld, but NECA has the Seinfeld license. Kramer in 1/9th cloth outfit format anyone?

Reservoir Dogs? Pulp Fiction? Kill Bill?

Scarface? Robotcop? Rambo? Clash of the Titans? Terminator? Wizard of Oz? Christmas Story? The Crow?

    These are all NECA licenses!

Do you think they might pick up the Doctor Who license?

Rocky mego-sized figures are probably my greatest desire in NECA's wheelhouse, unless the company picked up Marvel and/or Star Wars license.

Rocky and Apollo Creed would be fantastic add Clubber Lang, Mickey and the Russian would also be cool. Heck I'd buy James Brown.

I'd be interested in most of the ones you mentioned.

Predator, particularly members of Dutch's team would be cool.

I'd buy God Father figures of Vito, Sonny and Michael Corleone. Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver. 70s and 90s SHAFT

I'm not a big slasher fan, but I'd probably buy Michael Myers since I picked up Freddy and Jason.

Lord of the Rings/Hobbit and Harry Potter would be fun to me.

I'd be in for just about any Western characters, too... fictional and historic.

Mego style Rocky would be a dream come true for me. Anything else would be gravy for me.

          Rocky is likely coming

but I'd also like to see more Horror characters, Rambo,Terminator,The Lone Ranger and MARVEL...

Marvel comic characters would be sweet and Neca does make Marvel items,so maybe they could persue the 8" license

            ROBOCOP!!

I'd also love for NECA to pick up the Doctor Who 8" license and do it right.

I would love Lone Ranger as well, but between the Johnny Depp film underperforming and the Django Unchained fiasco, I think Western figures are not happening at NECA. (they even have/had the Jonah Hex license).

I would like to see some cool western stuff, say vintage Wild, Wild West. I would be all in for any classic monsters, Universal or Hammer.

Didn't they do Miami Vice a few years ago? Mego version would be cool.

The Alien franchise would be cool. Plenty of possibilities there.

Picking up the Who licence would be awesome!

I definitely want a Hellraiser Pinhead, and Capt. Spaulding in his clown outfit. David from Prometheus in his space suit would be one of the coolest sci-fi figures ever!

The problem with going after lisences from television and movies is you'll always end up with peg warming characters that will never sell no matter how it's marketed. It's physics, it's inevitible.

I'd like to see Neca, or whoever, try a different approach. I'd like to see genres picked up as a line of figs. Mcfarlane did it with horror movies and likenesses, so why not in 8-inch format? There might be more paid up front in lisencing individuals and likenesses and dealing with estates, but there would be little jeopardy in the back end taking markdowns on crap you couldn't sell. Every figure would be a success if done right. No use wholeselling to Big Lots for .50 cents unit to clear warehouse space when you can actually sell out of your product . Here's my awful ideas:

                          Legends of Martial Arts Films

Set 1 - Bruce Lee, Jim Kelly
Set 2 - Chuck Norris, Jean Claude
Set 3 - Steven Segal, Jet Li

                          Legends of Fantasy

Set 1 - Beastmaster, Dread Pirate Roberts
Set 2 - Arnold Conan, Madmartigan
Set 3 - Inigo Montoya, Drizzt (D and D Forgotten Realms)

                          Legends of the West

Set 1 - Lone Ranger, Tonto
Set 2 - Brisco County Jr., Rooster Cogburn
Set 3 - Man with No Name, Angel Eyes (both from Good, Bad , Ugly)

                          Legends of Sci-Fi

Set 1 - Riddick, John Carter
                          Set 2 - Malcolm Reynolds(Firefly), Roy Batty
Set 3 - Ellen Ripley, Major Dutch Schaefer(Predator)

Yes, there would be some substantial fees in the front end but you'd more than make it up in top-line sales and re-orders. There's not a peg warmer on these lists, the weakest being Li. Maybe we could find a substitute for him. Jackie Chan?
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I ABSOLUTELY want Rocky. So much they could do with Stallone. Rocky, Rambo, Cobra, Expendables. Jesus. All the rabid fans he has? They would be HUGE sellers. And I would buy two of each!

Now all I can think about is Stallone playing Jesus. "Yo, Mary Magdalene!"
