Superman and Green Lantern

Hey Guys,

Well Here's my Superman. I tryed to make him as close to the iconic version of him that I enjoyed as a kid. He has my Head,.. Still a work in progress in a few areas, & My Molded Parts as well. Hand sewn suit & Cape. The Cape has a Wire in it. Box & Emblems from the Toyroom.

Hal Jordan Green Lantern }

I Made this for someone,.. he wanted a Gil Kane represented Green Lantern from Yesteryear... I picked up the head from Paul Evans. My upper Body, & Doc Mego lower half for the rest. Lantern From Russ,.. I painted this one,.. I liked the look of it when I was done. Box & Emblem from the Toyroom.

They both look great Jason. Question on Supes. When you say "he has my head" does that mean you sculpted it?

Dave Yes. I tryed to blow up a Head,.. But failed. So I had to go back in & sculpt almost everything. Some of the hair turned out,.. Half the nose,.. & the lips,.. that was about it. I then had to also add the back of the head,.. & Neck.

I still am working with it though,.. its almost there.

Both look great. The only thing you should work on is the jawline of Supes, seems a bit too Jay Lenoesque.

One suggestion if I may: you gotta work on Supes' chin. He's got that big Jay Leno chin going on right now. Other than that he looks fantastic

Well nice job on the sculpt Jason. I didn't know you were doing full head sculpts. That's something I could never even come close to doing, so I'm always inpressed when someone can sculpt a head and actually make it look like the character it's supposed to be! You did a really nice job.

^^^ Well big thanks Dave. It wasn't the Plan to make the Full Head Sculpt,.. I was trying to boost something. But Failed,.. so I am trying it... Hopefully I can get better,.. just need somemore Practice. I get the head alittle closer every day. Obviously from the feedback,.. I need to work at it a bit more.
