    76 Superheroes

This page from Simpsons is pretty much all I thought about in 1976, Big Jim P.A.C.K, GI Joe Super Adventure Team and Mego Superheroes, throw in monsters and sandwiches and that's the brain patterns of six year old me.

I think it's ironic that the Mego heroes are so small on this page, their popularity influenced both Joe and Jim to change their looks and by 1977, they were the only ones left.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that I own 99% of this page as an adult collector now. They are my happy place...

Man, I missed out on some cool stuff by being born in 74. I may need a Bullet Man someday. I can understand why Alex Ross snuck him into Kingdom Come and merged him with the Fawcett character.

Man, that's what I was thinking. I never did have Bulletman or Zorak, but I sure remember lusting for them.

Lazervette ... beyond amazing. Andrew, the kid next door had a whack of the Big Jim's while I was a Mego / Super Joe kinda guy.

Can't recall him having the Lazervette.

Hey Bri, what do you think the big Jim ski jump play set and the Sky Commander are worth in box? Our local antiques mall has both at the moment.

Christmas 1975 and 1976 were my two favorites Christmas' as a kid. Looking back now, it's so much fun to remember. Big Jim's P.A.C.K., JJ Armes, Mego Super Heroes, Bullet Man. I can remember getting the truck from The Waltons line. But the P.A.C.K. line was pure awesome.
