CTVT Knights and Pirates...Are they worth it?

Anybody have the CTVT Knights and Pirates? I can get them for around $5 a figure. Aret hey worth that price? Did CTVT use the first (and more poorly made bodies) on these figures? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you buy the entire set loose they're $5 each. Check out the CTVT site. I bought em all and used what I needed to complete my originals. If you have no originals I would swap em onto an original body. T1's seemed to be the best as the CTVT stuff tends to be a little smaller than the original mego pieces. T2C pretty much said it all, you can't get a complete set of repro pieces for $5. They're a great deal to complete your originals with. I think all the bodies are pretty bad to be truthful. The white ones seem to be better and I've heard others say the Glow in the Dark ones are good, buy I've had no fun dealing with the rest of them.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

It's worth it for the outfits and the accessories alone

i'd say theyre worth it. i love long john, tight body yeah, but i love'em he stands pretty good, quality maynot be as good as the startrek repros but theyre good enough and fun. i'd say buy a few and judge for yerself. i got my western heroes and i have to admit i love'em. only thing is sitting bull's missing his feather cap...meh, oh well. still good stuff. cheap price for cool figures.

Those were among the best of the bodies they did put put, and considering how much we are willing to pay for individual parts or an unpainted resin head (or even a rotocast one) $5 is a complete steal if you ask me. The Legends, in my opinion, were all among the best and most worthwhile CTVT figures for the original price.

I bought the knights and only trouble I had was swords with broken handles or glue comming off some parts. Simple simple stuff to fix. My set stands up without problems. I say they are VERY worth it.
Also the Robin Hood set was even better. Not one single issue with those.

Thanks, everyone. I'll definitely be ordering them. I'll probably pick up the Robin Hood line, too. I'm glad to hear that CTVT used their better bodies on the Legends figures.

if you want to buu a single repro part you would have to pay $5

                      they are great

complete your originals - some of the parts are used in other lines as well - GA bow!

also great for filling in lines
