Name your favorite Universal Monster toys!

    In no particular order...

Dracula: Sideshow 8" figure. Has yet to be topped IMO.

Frankenstein: Sideshow 12" Son of Frankenstein. Love the headsculpt, paints, and outfit on this figure.

Wolfman: Hasbro 12" figure. Still the best Wolfman headsculpt after 16 years.

Mummy: Aurora model kit. Best Mummy sculpt ever.

Creature: EMCE 8" figure. Very close to perfect.

Phantom: EMCE 8" figure. Absolute perfection.

Some of my favs in no particular order

Remco Mini Monsters. The Glow ones are beyond cool.
Toy Island Universal Monsters. A very under-rated wonderfully sculpted and articulated line that got loads of undeserved hate.
          Aurora models.
          Emce/Diamond Mego style Universal Monsters
          Playmates Monster Force
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

My favorites have to be the 3.75" Remco Monsters... Not that I consider them the best, but I have fond memories attached to them.

I am young enough to have enjoyed them when I was little, back when my parents picked up a bundle of them to give away as prizes at a Halloween themed party they threw. It was just too cold outside to go trick-or-treating, so they invited all of their friends to bring their kids over to play games.

I remember that they randomly put together a bunch of stuff. Placed them in paper bags which had the tops folded over and stapled shut, so no one would know exactly what they were getting. I remember in one of the bags everything was a Halloween themed... coloring books with small pack of crayons, stickers, comics, vampire fangs,1 Remco monster figure, and a handful of candy. I even remember that the Dracula went to my future brother in law for winning a pin the jack-o-lantern smile on the pumpkin game... I got a glow in the dark Creature... although I'm not sure I won anything. I can't remember that part. I mainly remember being jealous over losing out on Dracula.
            ALL HAIL MING!

Sentimental vote is for Mad Monster solid box Wolfman.

The Sideshow: Lon Chaney 12" figure is very well done.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I love the 12" Sideshow figures (and I'm a sucker for silver screen), but I only have 3! That needs to be remedied.

Favorite Universal Monsters I DO Have:
12" Sideshow Nosferatu Silver Screen edition
12" Sideshow Masque of the Red Death Phantom of the Opera
12" Sideshow London After Midnight silver screen
12" Hasbro Creature from the Black Lagoon
                Telco 15/17" Creature motionette
(I guess I like big things)
                Sideshow 8" Mole People silverscreen
My custom Blacula Telco motionette (wait, Blacula isn't Universal...)
Minimates Creature From the Black Lagoon (all versions) (they're cuuuute)

                Favorite Universal Monsters I WANT:
EMCE Creature from Black Lagoon (I want that NOW)
Tin wind-up Creature from the Black Lagoon (Biliken?)
                AHI Creature from Black Lagoon
Sideshow 12" Creature from the Black Lagoon (both color & Silverscreen)
Sideshow 18" Sideshow Premium Format Nosferatu
Sideshow 12" Phantom of Opera silverscreen
Sideshow 12" Mole Man (color & silverscreen)
Living Dead Dolls Nosteratu and Victim

                Diamond Select Dracula
                Sideshow 8" Hunchback silverscreen
Living Dead Dolls Frankenstein & Bride
Telco Phanom of the Opera Motionette

I love those drinking glasses from the ?60's?
I think they were sold at gas stations!
also I saw some candles on ebay once... should have bought them as I've never seen them again anywhere.
