Groovie Goolie Love

I was super stoked to find this amazing Chemtoy catalog page featuring the Groovie Goolies figures (which I sadly don't own but luckily are featured in Rack Toys). It's bittersweet that the find happened just as I get news that Lou Scheimer has passed away. It's no secret I adored the man's work and I am so glad that he managed to document his stories in an amazing book.

Think I'll go watch some cartoons....

I really loved those Chemtoy Groovie Goolies figures when I was a kid.

I also had all of the Fat Albert characters, Batman, Robin, and several Superman variants.

I love the Groovie Goolies! I have the Saturday Superstar Movie Groovie Goolies Meet Looney Tunes! I also have the record album! I never knew about the toys, those are great!

Man, I would have loved those toys as a kid. I came into the Goolies via reruns a few years after their initial airings. My kids love them today!

Cool,I loved the Groovie Ghoulies as a kid,I also liked all the Lou Scheimer cartoons too.

I never saw any G.G. toys when I was little but these look cool.

Loved the show as a kid, hard to watch as an adult. I had 2 sets of these figures from my childhood and sold them on ebay YEARS ago for a LOT of money.

That display box is so colorfully eye-catching! I had never seen this show as a kid, so I rented it last year. Unfortunately, I found it a little tough to sit through. But the designs are wonderful.

at the time the groovie goolies and sabrina the teen age witch were a must watch on sat,mornings. i had most of the goolie figures, Wolfie was my
favorite .i still have my wolfie,its missing a foot.i bought these two shows on dvd ,and i still love them,i love the theme songs.way back in 69-72 i woke
up early to watch these shows -fantastic.

I loved these as a kid and picked up an entire set at a second hand thrift mall for $30.00. It was the find (and deal) of a lifetime. They are one of my prized collectibles.

Wow, I was just looking at some of these on EBay, they go for some decent money! $25-50 for the minor characters like Hagatha & Haunteleoy, then up to $100 for Frank, Drac, & Mummy!

Yep! You should have seen me when I spotted these. I stood in front of the locked case and told my wife to go get one of the staff. No one was getting those but me. And the funny thing is that seller was probably tickled to get what he/she was asking. Sometimes the most obscure and rare stuff is what pops up for nothing because it's not part of that popular awareness of collectible goods.
