I am ordering a Dida Enterprise bridge set and am looking for a transporter booth. I would rather get one loose as I don't think I have the heart to tear apart an old playset to get at one.
Can anyone help, either directing me to where to buy, or if they have any for sale themselves?
None on e-bay. Just a raggedy Enterprise playset. That kinds looks like the one I used to have. I can't tear it apart. I just can't do it!!!!

Hey, glad to hear you are interested in getting a bridge. I don't know when the transporter/phone booth sleeve will get made, a lot depends on how this first phase goes. But to your question, there are a lot of beat to heck Enterprises out there, I've liberated a number of transporters from their warped, moldy carcasses. I have a lot of love and respect for original sets in good condition, but once they've reached a certain stage of decay I have no sentimentality when it comes to donating their organs so that something else might live.

Hey, Scott, I am more than interested. I'm pre-ordered! More than that you and I have been discussing the super deluxe custom bridge w/tubolift! I have faith the cases are coming ; )

I'm sure you meant to say "I just can't do it, Captain!"
But apparently your advice is now coming from STVI, where Captain Sulu orders his helmsman to "Fly her apart then!"
Good luck. I have plans to get some Dida Displays myself. As I think Billy Crystal used to say in character, "They look marvelous!"

Very cool! I don't have Chekov or Sulu customs, but I could add Uhura. Might have to look into this.

That is a really cool transporter room but not "Mego" enough for a playset. I would use that for an actual Enterprise set replica (which would rule by the way).
I am looking for a transporter booth because the thing actually worked! one of the more ingenious toys there were.

That's why I'll display it with my Dida Enterprise bridge :wink_y:

Ya know, it dawned on me, but I wondered if they really ment for that transporter to actually be a turbo lift? It does make more sense to be the turbo lift.... I am pretending it really is a turbolift.
Oh and Meule, could you send me a PM on the seller of that cool transporter so I can keep an eye out too!

I've actually been e-mailing Scott back and forth re a three level enterprise playset w/turbolift. Having the bridge opened up into right and left halves
Level one, top level, Alien landscapes
Level two bridge halves
Level three, bottom level sick bay and engineering
That'w what's got me looking for the transporter booth. I want to put a flap where Scott has the transporter art and have the mego booth behind that. Also asking about geting a computer console in engineering and a bed in sick bay.
The only drawback to this is that when the playset is closed you don't get the view of the complete bridge from above
I haven't heard from Scott in a little while but I am assumong he is assembling orders.

I'm putting a proposal together on that, Chris. I'm excited to get the turbolift going, and someone else came to me with a very similar idea, so we're onto something!
You are correct I'm assembling the preorders right now, I need to take care of the people who stepped up first. My guy has a big pile of consoles he's riveting together, they look great...

I love the Dida Display enterprise. Too sweet.
I have been working on a version of the transporter, but have lost motivation. I really like where it was going but haven't been able to quite finish it off. Here are some pics. Again it is NOT finished. I would almost consider it a prototype.
And I'll use this opportunity to introduce the Custom Flash of the week. Hope you like.
The over head lights work do work, I need to dress it up some and hide the wiring, so it doens't look like a 5gal bucket.

Flash is probably the only red shirt that would survive beaming down to a planet:grin:
I think that transporter looks pretty finished from the pictures. Perhaps an inch or two of a flat panel/wall on each side of the chamber, but otherwise looks great.
