I'm watching an apparent hidden auction of a figure I've always wanted and one that is complete. I don't think I've ever seen a complete example with all of the accessories and certainly not for this price. I'm probably being naive in thinking I'm the only one after this guy, but starting bid is 49.99. I'm fighting the urge to bid now since I know I'll just drive it up prematurely. I mean that's the best way to bid am I correct? I'll be home when it ends so I won't have to fiddle-fart with my phone. I gots two days and one hour. I hate playing the waiting game...

Yes, wait until the last minute if you can. If someone else is watching the auction, it might give him a false sense of security to see no bids on it. So when he finally does bid, he might not be as aggressive and that could give you the advantage when you finally swoop in. I've played that waiting game plenty of times, good luck!

Yes, resist the urge to bid early and use a snipe service. Hard to win without one nowadays. Good luck!

Yeah, I'd wait until the end. Bidding early does make other watchers antsy and jump the gun. They may forget about it otherwise. Good luck!

Unlike most auctions, Ill actually be home for its conclusion. Bidding on my phone sucks big time. I'll just pop in there with 20 seconds or so left and punch in my max bid and see what happens.

I always say...bid the most you would pay with 2 seconds left! Tends to work every time if it was meant to be!

A second bid came in for 1.00 over the previous bid. If bidders are going to be that cheap, I'll hit it hard with my maximum and snag this. It's pretty weak compared to other people's grails, but I only have a meager collection of figures anyway. I'm sure I'll get my share of eye rolls when(if) I win this. It'll make my week for sure, but it's far from exciting.
