That ad doesn't make me feel secure at all. I was not a fan of that Spidey figure.

I had that Spiderman as a kid, he never worked but he was fun to play with. I did have a smaller version that worked and it never got old watching him climb the "spider line".Comment

Must've been a decent year for Remco, I recall knowing several kids who owned the Kiss Your Face Make-Up Kit and/or Spidey, myself included.Comment

I have a lot of love for the Energized heroes, especially Spidey, since he was the first one I had (and the first one made). The action feature and C-clamp he came with fascinated me for some reason, ad did the etched webs on his body, and that nice squishy head he had. I think the Remco Spidey head was actually more on-model than Mego's version. I know, blasphemy.
