Flash 2.0
Ok - this is really just an upgrade of my flash figure.
The head I'm pretty sure came from Brian Leitner, I believe he painted it as well - thanks BL If its not his and I had to guess it might be an old Matt Jaycox - not sure because I got flash heads from both of them. (Matt way way back and if BL than only a year ago) Just do not recall which this one came from.
He was wearing an early BL Flash suit with the yellow bolts and belt made from mending tape
I upgraded his suit by using a BL red flash suit, I than put these new high quality auto-motive decals on him. These are made from a non mego guy - but they really POP! nice and bright and gives this figure a whole new look.
The body is original mego with spidy arms.
the boots are from doc mego.
Funny story about the card - I believe it was made by a fellow Staten IsLander way way way back - like 1999? maybe 2000?
Not sure if he is a member here but his name was Slade Ardenson? Anderson? the card is only one sided and quality is not that good but it was one of the 1st ever repro cards I ever bought - takes me way back. I drove to his house to pick them up - he was shrinking robin heads some how (back than) and his main customs were old school x-men. One the way home from picking them up some lady blew a red light and creamed my car - lucky I was ok, but the car was trashed. they took me to the hospital (again lucky I was ok) but they insisted on bringing me to get checked out but I told the EMT's to grab my card backers out of the car for me -haha I did not want to leave without them - true story ahaha
