Mattel DC Toy Fair pics up

Beyond the 3.75 Infinite Heroes line, we're getting Imaginext figures and playsets. My son is going to freakin' flip for these.

There is so much at once, it's almost overwhemling. Also DCU Classics Wonder Woman and Cyborg shown for the first time. And Super Friends Robin! But color those sleeves, please!

The pics for Cyborg and WW say figure is a 2 up. What's a 2 up? Not part of the regular DC Classics wave?

To show detail better they are twice as large as the figure is going to be produced. But they will be part of the classics wave.

What GL9999 said. Most figures nowadays are actually sclupted at twice the size. Like he said, its for detail.

All the figures look really cool, and I want one of each. But, I am really excited about the Super Friends figures. I'm not sure why - they just look really cool and fun. Somebody here posted the Hawkman picture a while back, and I went and tracked down the first wave. The Joker, Robin, The Penguin and the Batcave all look pretty cool!!

Ok I get it. I saw the larger figures at Wizard World Chicago last year. I just didn't know they had a specific name.

Yeah, I really dig it. It kind of reminds me of Toy Biz's Batcave, which was about the best thing they did for that line.

Just to clear up confusion, the Batcave and some of the figures and vehicles seem to be for the small scale Imaginext line, not the current "Rescue Heroes"-sized Super Friends line. Although we are gettting Robin and the Joker in that line too it seems!

                      Great Thread !

Man,.. some of those Infinite Hero's line is very cool. Interesting in which some of the characters they went with for that line.

Love the Sinestro Corps Variant figure,.. too Cool Wonder Woman really looks great too. From the DC Universe... That DeathStroke has got to be the coolest Figure I have EVER scene.

For the love of the character,.. I hope I find that Hawkman Plush. That was Fantastic. I'm hoping that DC Direct shows a 13inch version of Hawkman this yr as well.

Anyone notice Deathstroke in the "Dark Knight" line?

Not sure I'd classify him as a "Batman Foe"...

Yeah there was a Metallo in the Superman Returns line as well, guess they needed to "Gussy up" the line a bit.
