What to use for a Mego Tattoo?

So, has anyone ever drawn a tattoo onto a mego body with success? I have a custom in the works that will involve a detailed hand drawn tattoo on the body. I was wondering what the best thing to use would be.

    Ideas?

Either Dave Lee or Lasermego could probably make you a fancy sticker

No doubt they could, but I would rather draw it on than stick it.

Highly detailed might be tough. Can you print the image on some type of transfer paper and rub the image one and then spray it with a no gloss, clear paint to protect the image?
The vinyl stickers sound like a good idea.

I wouldn't use sharpie. I don't know if it will react the same way on the plastic the bodies are made of, but on vinyl heads, the ink spreads and looks terrible after a while.

I did these several years ago. I had to use a special paper.

                      Hmmmm....

If you're REAL hardcore, use a scriber to etch it in and do a paint wash over it.

I used to do custom wwe figures, and found that waterslide decals work best

                          ^^^ What he said... ^^^
You can find them for cheap on eBay... Print over one of these sheets, then spray over the print with Krylon Clear paint to seal it, allow to dry, cut to size and then dip into water for a couple seconds, slide the decal and apply it over figure... you'll love it!

I haven't had any luck finding any of the decal sheets mentioned in this thread in my small city thus far. Might need to order something online.

For those wondering the tattoo will be for a custom 12" Dr Steel......got some very cool plans for this one. Looking forward to it.

This has the potential of being one of my favorite customs, but a lot rides on how the tattoo turns out.
