Here is another custom mego action figure I made:the golden age daredevil.
I made him using a head made out of super sculpey and the following items from dr.mego:
a mego-style Caucasian body,a white bodysuit and shorts colored red and blue,and a yellow belt.
the boomerang was made out of a piece of thick white paper.

That's a complicated dye job. Perhaps you may get cleaner lines by using fabric paint. Fabric paint sometimes works when nothing else will (shy of having a suit custom made). Kudos for your effort!
