I have wanted these for a long time. They were released in 1992, exclusively in the UK. Been looking for them ever since. I was very glad to finally add them to my collection a week ago, thanks to a collector friend in Belfast who sold me his set, the only carded set I have seen since the 1990s. (and the only carded set I have ever seen in person)

Nice! Thanks for sharing Ray.
I own the Toy Island Catalogs with these in them and keep hoping to find them at a show or online. They have a nice 70s vibe to them.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Thanks everyone! I think they are pretty cool. Definitely descended from the same gene pool as the off-brand 70s monster figures. The early 90s were the last blast of funky, weird toys before everything became very homogenized for a long time.
I am familiar with the Toy Island pirates. I bought them from Walgreens back in the day. I thought they were very AHI-like. It was surprising to see Mego-like figures with cloth costumes during an era when every other figure was all-plastic and 5 inches tall. And it was cool to see them hanging in drug stores. They were "junk aisle" toys. So when I heard they were making monsters, I was psyched. I didn't know it would take me 21 years to get them.Comment

I love the fact that the vampire is more Nosferatu type than your typical vampire.Visit my wiki site:

I finally tracked down a set of these guys - tough to find is an understatement. I generally collect loose figures, so I'm good with them out of the package until I can find some carded examples.
